A Narration by Unknown Writer, shared by Hon. Chinechieze1 and edited by Uzo Amaka O.

When I started using pen in my primary school, and I made a mistake, i would try hard to erase the error before submitting my work to my teacher.

Sometimes, I'd use chalk to try to clean out my errors but they'd re-appear. So I began to use my saliva. It seemed to have worked, but only to leave holes in my book.

My teachers then used to beat me up for being outrageously messy.
But all I had tried to do was to cover my errors.

One day, a kind hearted teacher who loved me so much called me aside and said:

"Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on."
He further added: Trying to erase your mistakes would only damage your book than not.
I'd replied in protest, that I didn't want people to see my mistakes.

My loving teacher laughed and said:
"Trying to erase your errors will make more people know about your mess and the stigma is for life..."

Have you made some mistakes in your life?
If Yes, cross it and move on.
Don't expose yourself as a result of trying to cover your mistakes.
Better things are ahead of you.

Therefore strike out your 2024 errors and move on into 2025 with a fresh note and a renewed hope.

Wish You All a Safe and Prosperous 2025!!
